Writing and Editing

So I don't know if it's just me, but whenever I write a story I get to apoint where I'm not sure if it makes sense and I have forgotten to split up the days. But then I really don't feel like going back and reading ALL of it.

  1. Lol, I do stuff like that sometimes. But mainly its with characters ages. I realize I made them a certain age, but they act like they are way older or younger. Or I make a week last more like a month. Just weird things that need to be fixed when I rewrite. By the way, how did you get the fish?

  2. Editing is a learned practice and a huge part of writing. It needs to be done, and I'm not going to lie, you're going to be sick of your story by the end of it ;) Take a look at my blog post on "Character Purgatory" entitled "Hanging Drawing and Quartering--you know that thing writers do called editing?" I have a few tips on how to make it easier on there ;)
